What is required to book a session?
Once a date and time that works for everyone has been settled on, I require the session fee as a retainer and a signed photography contract to reserve your session.
Do you accept credit cards?
I accept all major credit cards and also accept email money transfers and Paypal payments.
Where do these sessions take place?
Lifestyle sessions are primarily done on location in and around the Edmonton, Alberta area. It really depends on the type of lifestyle session you are looking for. I am available to travel anywhere you might what to go just let me know the location and we can work something out.
How long does a session last?
The sessions are 1-3 hours in length depending on the type of session you want.
When can I review my photos?
Photos will be ready for viewing approximately 2-3 weeks following your session. Rush processing is available (for an additional cost) should you need your photos by a deadline, such as for an anniversary, birthday, etc.
How many photos do I get to review?
Between 30-50 images will be presented to you during your in studio viewing session or sent to you through my online proofing gallery. I do offer $25 off my package prices for clients who choose an in studio viewing session as well as a $100 gift voucher to give to anyone you wish.
How much editing do you do on the pictures?
I edit every photo that I show you, so by the time you see them they have already gone through light retouching. Photo editing is custom for every client and I strive for a naturally style. Once you select your final favourite photos, whether it’s for your album, digital files or folio print box, I’ll edit them to perfection.
How many images should I order?
This is completely up to you! Lifestyle sessions can have 30-50 digitals to choose from. My top packages come with a beautiful handcrafted flush mounted album and folio boxes. Of course you are always welcome to purchase more photos to add to your order. Many clients love their photos so much they can't help themselves!
When will I receive my album/prints/wall art/digitals?
Delivery time will vary depending the product you order. Most of my clients’ print products are ready to be picked up in 4-6 weeks after the photos have been selected. Please note that certain products will take additional time to produce in print labs, if you need your photos by a specific deadline please let me know right away and I will try to accommodate your needs.
Can you accommodate last minute bookings? (I need my pictures ASAP)
I occasionally schedule last minute bookings (when available) for clients who absolutely can’t wait to have their photos. Booking the shoot last minute does not mean you will be charged additional session fees. However putting in a rush order on retouching/print production means the photos will be billed at a rush rate.
Do you offer digital files?
I do offer the option of purchasing all the digital files from your session.
I’ve seen my photos and I LOVE them! How do I order products (prints, albums, FoLIO Boxes etc)?
I'm so glad you love your photographs! You can order any products during your photo review. The full payment for products ordered is due before print production can begin. I do not order products without receiving the full payment.
If I choose to review my photos in the online gallery, can I just print them from there?
Photos in your online gallery will be displayed in screen resolution which is not suitable for printing. I will release the high resolution printed files to your gallery after receiving payment.
I HAVE AN EMERGENCY, CAN I RESCHEDULE THE SHOOT?
I understand that things come up last minute and sometimes it can’t be helped. Reschedule requests made with at least a 48 hour notice will be rescheduled one time for free.
I GOT SICK/AM NOT FEELING WELL, SHOULD I RESCHEDULE THE SHOOT?
Yes, please reschedule! I do not photograph clients when they’re ill. When you don’t feel your best, you definitely won’t look your best, and that’s something that will translate to photos. If you are coming down with a flu or just not feeling well, make sure to let me know as soon as possible and I can reschedule your shoot.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF MY SHOOT DATE?
Please understand that since you confirmed for your session, it means I was made unavailable to other clients in order to shoot with you. If you cannot make the second appointment, the session is considered a “no-show” and the the retainer/fees paid is non-refundable.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
Due to the custom nature of our service, the retainer/session fee and fee for any products ordered is non-refundable and non-transferable. I will always get your approval on any print orders, so you’ll know what your final product will look like before we send anything to print.
